MAJOR Updates of Soccer Management Game (Everything has changed)


football manager gameOK, so it has been around two years since the last devlog for Samuel Bromley’s No Stats Soccer Manager.

In that time, the game has changed from a scrappy-looking mobile game, to a much more nicely-presented desktop experience.

The game now looks like it has done inside my head for around 30 years or so. What you see on the screen is what I saw in my head all that time ago. A game with the UI of Championship Manager 93/94, but with the subtlety of Super League Manager (Audiogenic, Amiga, 1991).

Not being a coding natural, it has taken me an awfully long time to get to this position, but still there is work to do.

At the moment, it is probably 70% complete, with a few major parts to do, such as the main match engine itself. Currently the user doesn’t see the game being played, just the result from the game, even though this result is calculated based on squad strength and squad chemistry combined.

I would love for people to test out the game - from utilising transfers, playing the mini-games, going through a season etc. Any feedback would be so greatly received.
